Anini Flight Club is a local crew from Anini Beach, on Kauai's North Shore, brought together by wind and water sports and out on the ocean whenever life allows. Before there was an app, there was the Anini Foil Crew: our WhatsApp group, checking the wind together every morning - and hearing the line everyone at the beach knows: "It was windier earlier."

AFC Wind grew out of those mornings. It watches the wind, waves and tide at your spots and sends you one short report a day, so you don't miss the good sessions. It started with Anini and now covers spots around the world.

Each spot's forecast is a blend of weather models, checked against live wind stations and buoys where there are some. Best Bets and Talk Story are written by AI (Claude, made by Anthropic) from that data and our notes on each spot. Nobody pays to be mentioned.

Every spot we list is already public knowledge - in guides, on maps, on the beach. The rest is yours. A secret spot you add is never published, never on a public map and never in anyone else's report.

The Flight Crew adds the full Talk Story every morning, an alert when the forecast shifts after your report or a wind station near you turns on, up to 25 spots and 10 secret spots of your own. It's $29.99 a year or $3.99 a month. New riders get the first 14 days of it free, and the trial simply ends by itself.

Forecasts miss, and AI gets things wrong. Treat everything here as a guide, not a guarantee: look at the water, check conditions yourself and ride within your limits.

We keep your email, where you first came to us from (a link's tag or the site that linked here - nothing else about your visit), the spots and report time you pick, your Telegram link if you connect it, any secret spots you add (and, if you share one, your name and the addresses you invite), your plan and anything you send us through the comment boxes. We use it to run your reports and to answer you - we don't sell or share it, and there are no ads or trackers (we only count how often the app is opened, from which link or site, in which kind of browser or app, and which parts of it get used - numbers, nothing about who). Sign-in and storage run on Supabase, emails go out through Resend, and Flight Crew payments are handled by Stripe - we never see your card details.

"Delete my account" in My account removes all of it straight away, and ends a paid plan.

Without an account, the comment boxes keep just your message and, if you give one, your email - used only to answer you. Email us to have it removed.
